TERMS OF SERVICE

Purchase through Big Green Tarantulas is contingent upon agreement to the following Terms & Conditions

Our Goal

We aim to make the hobby more affordable and accessible to more people through producing and selling spiders. We shoot to offer everyone a reliable and easy way to obtain these beloved creatures. If there is ever any issue or you feel dissatisfied with your purchase please feel free to reach out so we can make it right.

Shipping

Shipping is charged upon checkout. We charge a flat rate of $50 within the continental United States. We ONLY ship within the continental United States, if shipping to your area is not available you will be refunded your order.

Orders must be a minimum of $75 dollars. Any order less than $75 will be charged the remainder as a fee to help cover time, materials, and loss taken on shipping cost.

We contact all buyers via email and text message within one day of placing your order to discuss shipping details such as delivery day and FedEx hub location.

We only ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as to avoid any late deliveries stretching out over the weekend. We only ship FedEx priority overnight for the safety and wellbeing of the animals. This is not an option. Priority over night does not mean that you will be guaranteed your package the following day as delays do happen, this only means that we use FedEx's most expedited shipping service.

We only ship for hold at facility, (unless contact with myself is made to clarify any changes and "DOA" does not apply as stated in the Live Arrival Guarantee section of this page)  this means you will have to pick up and receive the package from your closest or preferred FedEx hub. This is for the safety of the animals.

Live Arrival Guarantee

All animals purchased through us come with Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG). This means that we guarantee that any animals we ship to you are GAURENTEED to arrive alive, EXCEPT UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

 

Delivery to a home address instead of a FedEx facility

Change of delivery during shipment

The particular item was a freebie and not purchased as part of the order

The package was not received/picked up on the same day that it arrived to the FedEx facility

We will honor your purchase even in the event of:

 

Courier delay

Courier damage to package (please send photo upon pickup if package is damaged)

Courier fault - lost or missing packages

In the event that you do receive a Dead on Arrival (DOA) please follow these steps to make a claim:

Please contact us via email or text message within ONE HOUR of receiving your package

Contained in said email or text message should be a CLEAR video of the animal with its packaging

We may ask that you return the specimen at the cost of the customer

In the event of a DOA, and LAG is considered appropriate, the customer has the following options:

Refund of the cost of spiders, not to include the price of shipping

Store credit for the amount of the spiders, not to include the price of shipping

Replacement of identical spiders (If available, and if not available replacement of spider/s of the same value) with shipping at the cost of Big Green Tarantulas

Cancelations

If necessary you may cancel your order as late as two days before the shipping date (the day before delivery date). Any order canceled after the two days prior to shipping date will only be refunded the price of the spiders but not shipping costs.

Liability

Big Green Tarantulas assumes no responsibility for damages or harm that may result in the possession of these creatures. THESE ARE WILD ANIMALS. Please do your research before making any purchases and be prepared for the risks and care associated with the various specimens offered.
