Feeding

Crickets, Dubia, and Red Runners.

If the prey is too big then pre-kill and remove any left over food the following day.

• Locale - South America

• Category - New World, Terrestrial

• Size - Females reach around 5" while males are usually smaller. This species grows relatively quick.

• Lifespan - Females 13+ years, Males 2-4

Care

• Temperature - Kept like most other tarantulas at 75°-85°F

• Humidity - 60%-70% is a standard range to support healthy living, a water bowl can be used but I do not use for smaller specimens.

• Housing - Being a terrestrial species they thrive in a more horizontal enclosure roughly 3 times their legspan.
