Ceratogyrus Darlingi - Rear Horned Baboon
Ceratogyrus Darlingi - Also known as the Rear Horned Baboon, this is one of the more interesting "Baboon" tarantulas. It sports a literal horn protruding from the center of its carapace. It's believed that the horn is to support the attachment of the dorsal dilator muscle, which aid in drawing in liquified food into the sucking stomach. This is a great tarantula for anyone looking to transfer from new world to old world tarantulas.
